prayer warriors (following Jesus Christ, everyone welcome)

Do you have a walker? 2 canes sound difficult to manage (to me anyway, I'd be tripped up!).
Thanks, WR, I do have a walker but there are narrow places in the house where it doesn't easily fit, and I don't know how to navigate steps with it. The canes work well for me. I just use them with the alternate foot. So the cane in my left hand hits the ground at the same time as my right foot, and vice versa. Like the way a four-footed beast walks. It just means I need an apron with pockets, because I can't carry anything in my hands. I have several aprons! 😊

Oh! I thought I hit Post on this last night! 😳

Praying for everybody and also still need major prayers for myself please and thank you. I feel like I’m fighting a losing battle here lol
I'm sorry you're having such a rough time. :hugs I will continue to keep you in my prayers. You will be okay. God is holding onto you, and he won't let you go. He hears everything you say to him and he knows what you need. Though it feels like it, you aren't fighting a losing battle, because God is on your team! (Different translations say testing instead of tempting)
1 Corinthians 10:13 says:
The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure.

That's a really good one, Daffy.

That's a wonderful promise, and we know that God is faithful and cannot lie. But sometimes this is hard to hang on to, when we fall into the same temptation, over and over and over again, time after time after time, when we pray for deliverance and yet we still find ourselves shackled against our will ... I am thinking of how long I struggled with my addiction to cigarettes, 17 years, and what a burden it was to me. Yet at the same time I knew from God's Word that I was not cast off, that He still loved me, that He understood my battle and my affliction and that He had nothing but the tenderest compassion toward me. And then finally the day came that I was set free, that He rewarded my struggle and set me free, and now, 15 years later, I am stll rejoicing in that freedom! He is faithful that promised, and I had to be faithful in my efforts, in partnership with Him, to strive for the reward.... and He blessed me. Glory to God!

1 Corinthians 9:24 KJV

Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but (only) one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.

The kingdom is not given to those who do not strive, but to those who do.

:hugs it seems like no matter how much I pray or try, I take 10 steps backwards still.
