I don't think it's a testicle because the testicles are located in the body cavity up next to the kidneys.

I seriously don't think that can be cut off without the bird bleeding out.
Looks like a cancerous tumour on his Penis. Possibly why he couldn't retract it anymore.

I think @casportpony is right! I've seen lots of "guy" testicular torsions like this and it looks to me like there might be a restriction causing this too. I've had cases where men come into the OR with testicles as big as your head and seriously purple. You cut into the scrotum, take the testes in your hand and find that something is twisted for some unknown reason which causes this reaction. Usually, if caught in time, you put a warm saline sponge on it and it perks right up again. Granted, in my cases, it was a testicular torsion but I would think the same thing could happen to a long and wiggly duck penis that is dragging around a bit after use!

Ok everyone. So I got him cleaned up and I have no idea what this is. You can clearly see the penis and it’s kind of crusty (this is my mistake as it drug on the ground all mailing season and I thought it was normal. So I think he had a prolapsed penis all spring. It shriveled up and fell off) I’m thinking the problem he is having now might be from my ignorance. Anyways,,,, this thing looks like a growth. Could it be bowel? It’s definitely twisted on it self. A tumor? I REALLY DONT KNOW PEOPLE!
