Pullets or Roo

I don’t know I have no experience with rooster maybe they will be super loud all the time ? Maybe they will hurt hens constantly??? I don’t want hens to suffer. Just no experience with roosters 🐔 but o know they can be a good watch for the hens . Maybe they will be mean ? I don’t know really.
Only a bad, overly hormonal rooster will hurt hens.

Not all roosters are super loud all the time. Plus, a rooster crow is something you'll grow used to over time.

Not all roosters are mean.

Ok thank you. I guess I will wait and see. Can’t do nothing now I definitely not giving it away. Maybe it was meant to be for him to come here. I did pick her / him myself from that bin. So he will stay.

I'd certainly give him a chance, but if he turns out to be an incurable jerk, I'd get rid of him.

Incurable meaning, can't be trained, or corrected. I have one like this.

I start training at 1 day old, to adulthood.

Yeah I guess that would be only reason. Let’s hope if it end up being a roo he will be sweet. He is so far, very friendly and always come and sit on my lap first. Just cuddles.
My Heritage Plymouth Barred Rock was the same way. He's still very friendly.

Ok thank you. I don’t know anything about roosters never wanted one . But I can’t get rid of this cutie … deep inside I’m still crossing my finders and hoping it will be a pullet. Thanks for the tips.
It’s definitely male.
There’s no reason for you to separate him.

I don’t want chicks
Then don't incubate. But how can you say no??

Roosters are more than just for chicks. Although thats the rent my rooster pays here...
