@Jaki I never get tired of seeing baby chicks I really love lavender Orpingtons! I'm jealous!! Hows your sleepy one doing now? I found I was ALWAYS worried about my chicks and constantly looking over them to make sure everyone was ok. I think they're way more resilient than most people, myself included give them credit for! They're just soooo tiny and adorable though!!

Anyone remember I hatched ducklings?!?! These guys are growing up soooooooo fast!!! Just under three weeks old today!
Check out these glow ups!!

This last little guy is 9. He hatched three days late, and a painfully slow assist. I included his glow up pic with the first hatchling just to compare sizes. 9 is developing a little slower than everyone else but is managing to keep up otherwise! I'd say hes about a third smaller than the rest of his hatch mates.

Ducks are SO messy... but SO damn cute it just might be worth it.

One of these is not like the other.... Mr. Magoo is just so interested in what the turkeys are up to, and even more in what they leave behind... it's a dogs life I tell ya.

It was a HOT weekend here, and the humidity was unforgiving so I let everyone out to try and find some shade and get some more air flow. I definitely have to adjust the coop as I think it's just a little too stuffy... so here's to the first weekend "free ranging"
