Question on breed and differences in a breed

2 quick questions...
First...I have 4 RIRs. All have red heads and nice lil tails. One has a much blonder head and no tail. It has not been picked off or anything. Just never had one lol. I assume that is normal because all birds aren't identical, but just ensuring that I am correct. If not, please correct me.
Second...I am assuming what I got was not what I pointed out so clarifying...is the white a leghorn? It is the only one like it and I had not picked one.

Those look like RIRs... or production reds. Where did you get them?

Yes, the white appears to be a leghorn, and a cockerel.

I love my LH. I think every flock should have one. Male? I don’t know. LH have very large combs and they develop fairly fast. Your RIR’s will be good layers but a LH is a egg laying machine! I love my LH’s personality she’s like a dog in a chicken suit, so smart and she loves to do anything I’m doing, very inquisitive.

I'm aware of how quickly they develop... but even a young pullet, would have an orange comb until it was getting to POL. With the feathering on this guy, and how red that comb is... its a cockerel.

I wondered if he was a he. Crud. Not sure I want one but we shall see. His name is Lil Bit. He is my fave. He started his comb at like 2 weeks! But yes he is a dog personality lol! The RIRs are from Family Farm and Home. What is a production red? And why does (her name is Georgette...my super curious one) she not have a tail at all?

Nope not from that one! but maybe if he is a nice boy I will give him a few gal pals and try my own breeding next!
