I deal with coccidiosis in my flock from time to time, particularly when it rains and then gets warm and then rains again. But it's something that lives in chickens normally and only effects them if they're stressed or dealing with prolonged exposure (I'm pretty sure it's in the dirt here. The previous owner said she kept losing her chickens and didn't know why). If you see yellow foamy poop, or excessive diarrhea, I recommend doing a course of corid for the whole flock. It doesn't hurt if you follow instructions, and when it's done, give them some hen boost in their water to bring back their thiamine levels. You need to use plastic water feeders for this, and it's 2 tsp/1 gallon of water, changed every 24 hours.do you think that it could be hen pasty butt?
