No she’s not with her mother someone was selling five of them and I got one she is doing really good is the age to young to have been soldSince she is so little you might have to take her to the vet for the treatment. I have heard that revolution is safe for rabbits but if she's 6 weeks old I assume she is with her mother the mother will clean it off. I suggest taking her to the vet for treatment.
Thanks for your help my dogs don’t have any fleas we take them to the vet to get them these flea pills that take them off with in a day if I took the rabbit to the vet what would they give herMost cat flea products are safe for rabbits.
Most fleas only spend part of their time on the host; to control them, you really need to look at their environment. The classic way of keeping rabbits (in wire-floored cages that are a few feet above the ground) makes it nearly impossible for the fleas and the rabbits to get together. Dog and cat fleas aren't picky, they will jump on any warm-blooded host; but they can only jump so high. The fleas spend only part of their time on the host animal; the rest of the time is spent on the ground or the carpet or whatever other surfaces the host lives on. If there are dogs or cats with fleas living in the same area where your rabbit lives, the area has fleas, and your rabbit will constantly get infested with fleas as long as she lives there. You can treat the rabbit, but to control the fleas, you really need to deal with the fleas in the environment.
