Just be careful that there's enough ventilation so she doesn't overheat.
Oh I was thinking of having just one side of the rectangle covered on all sides and have one side open for ventilation. I'm
Aw, sweet thing! So glad she's eating well.
How is she ever going to go back to sleeping outside.... she is basically being hand fed and spoiled in here. haha!!

A wire dog crate inside the coop or run with the other chickens, so that she is not forgotten by the others would be what I would do. You could attach some screen wire to it and that can be found in rolls at big box and hardware stores. Spraying the area with permethrin and letting it dry for an hour would be good. Be sure and coat her wound with the Neosporin.

Got the antibotics in the mail.....however should I give it to her? I do not think she has an infection but of course I do not know for sure....

Others here are far more expert in medication, but I will tell you that when one of my hens was attacked by a fox and sustained several bite wounds, the vet immediately put her on an antibiotic. She said, "Rabies is not an issue for chickens, but wild animal bites really run the risk of bacterial infection."
