Red face - maturing or something else?

Do you not have other chickens of the same age? I see a man exchequer leghorn or the likes near her. Any breed at the same age will do.

I think they are all pullets, the marans is dark cuckoo, not blue cuckoo. I also think the Ancona is a leghorn, the Ancona pattern is mostly black with clear white mottles. Exchequer leghorns are black and white in random patterns.

If any are cockerels, the marans and Ancona are, I don’t believe the blue star is. I think they all are pullets though.
