Does anyone know what this is? I found it on some of my lighter skinned chicken legs - roos and hens. There are no raised scales, only the red color. Everyone in the coop seems normal and healthy. I can't find any information on it except a couple of threads. Thanks for your help!

Thank you for your response. It is normal for hens and roos? When i was searching I found a few threads about hormones for Roos; but only one comment about hormones for hens. Thanks again!

Many of my hens have this also. If you go to the top of this page and enter red skin on legs, you will find many threads and pictures about the subject. Of course, occasionally, there may be some cases of an illness or inflammation causing a problem, but your pictures look normal. My RIR hens look that way.
