Regularly epsom salt flush

Hi, I was curious if anyone regularly flushes their ducks for toxins, once a week or month with the epsom salt flush. Just curious. My 3 have been going crazy in the mud, eating all sorts of gross crawlies, and while they are dewormed, I still wonder if maybe a toxin flush every month or few weeks would be healthy. I have used this flush in the past when my one wasn’t feeling well, so I feel safe with this particular flush. Any advice would be great. Thanks.

I've never heard of doing this before. Mine have been noodling around in some pretty nasty mud lately too. @casportpony have you ever heard of this?

Eating things that make your arse fall out isnt fun, Cant imagine a duck liking it

I heard of someone who was so sick that they lost the beneficial bacteria in their gut and took months to recover

No it was OTC Xlax

Iam pretty sure it can wash away the enzymes and bacteria in your intestines so that you cant absorb nutrients. I could be all wrong tho and i have no idea how ducks work

Having used Epsom salts on myself, I can confirm that it is an unpleasant experience.

I did find a veterinary reference that mentioned using it in cases where a bird has been exposed to lead, but no directions were given.
