I am so sad as you can see maybe I’ve been a member for over 10 years and had my girl for over 10 years. I live in Southern California and it’s getting too expensive to live here. Me and my family have been scarcely close to being homeless. I always get a bigger place because I never wanted to rehome my girl. I’ve moved several times and even managed to have her in apartments. With good size yards, of course. I still managed to spoil her. She always has freshwater the best food and of course bugs and a wet patch of grass and dirt to play in. I’m devastated to ask, but I am wondering if there’s anybody with a lovely home who could possibly take in my girl. She is a Pekin and she’s extremely well-behaved. She is the best animal that I have ever had. I wouldn’t want her to go anywhere unless it was an amazing home for her. I’m sure there’s many people in here with amazing places for her probably even better than what I have to offer. I’m not sure if I’ll actually do it because it’s devastating for me but I would like to see if there’s anybody that would be open to adopt her. She used to have a mate named Bob her name is Marley.
Her mate got attacked a few years back and sadly passed. She has never really been the same since then always a little more timid than usual and I keep her a mirror outside to look at so she doesn’t feel lonely. I’ve tried to get other ducklings, but she wasn’t super open to it. Maybe now that she’s older she would be though. Anyways, if anybody that has had Ducks and would be open, please contact me. She is seriously such a sweet and amazing girl.
