Respiratory Illness in broody’s and babies

@FlyingNunFarm I’ll be sure to use that line with her!

@Hen Pen Jem thank you for the information as well as for the idea of alternating them!

As for changes, I noticed them sneezing quite a lot after the treatment. If I think Of how nebulizer treatments affect humans, it’s a good sign for them to be sneezing similar to when we cough During treatment because it is opening up the airways

Even my rooster was enjoying a neb treatment! He’s not overly friendly but i couldn’t get him off my leg!

So an update a week later! Welp, I’m in deep now as it spread to my whole flock of 30+birds. It is cycling around, one day some sound better and the next more sneezing/hoarseness. I’ve been doing colloidal silver and oxine with the Oxine in the humidifier & fogger and colloidal silver in the water. Plus, my garlic, cinnamon, oregano, thyme, and basil infused water.

Good news is that no one has been really bad for more than a day and then they seem to bounce back a bit. Not sure re-separating anyone will prove beneficial as it seems everyone has caught it in the mix.

I’m going to steady on for the next couple days and hope it gets better!
