Ribh's D'Coopage

Looks like I’m gonna have to get to work on Mak’s butt! I got a close look at it this morning and it was awful and I think a giant dingle berry! And of course it’s her.. she is one I can barely touch :barnie
I wrapped my girl firmly in a towel & then covered her face to do the trim. I will check all my girls but I think most of them are ok. It's Lavender. She's a goosey~woosey. *sigh* Can you nab her off the roost & work @ night?

lol My MIL used to feed them ~ despite being warned. MIL went away for about a month . We hadn't seen the birds for a while but all of a sudden there was a big flock of them again & the whole lot of them were tossing big sticks onto the roof & onto heads & screaming like whirling dervishes! All because she'd stopped feeding them. They have been known to eat entire wooden cubby houses, all the wood around windows, door frames, verandah rails. Not nice birds...

Wow. That is vicious. Not nice birds at all!

I guess if I have to I can.. I can touch her then.. but I’d rather work with day light....

That's when I do it. At night. Grab them off the roost and give them a treat.

Well...that's what I think. :) They're a big bird too & not much scares them. Kookaburras can be pretty brazen too. We've had them fly through an open kitchen window & nick hot sausages out of the pan but their beaks won't break the skin if they peck you & they're not nasty like cockatoos.
