Normally I check everyone just as the sun goes down, & sometimes again before I go to bed but we had massive storms happening here last night so I opted to stay put. So glad she's turned up ok!

I've killed off all the grass & have started planting so they find it all very interesting.
I think I missed her when I opened up & she must have immediately scooted off to wherever she's hiding her eggs. I'm usually really careful to make sure I've got everybody when I close the coop for the night & I could have sworn she was there but things have been really out of sorts with my birds recently. It is all a bit of a schermozzle, what with trying to get Chavi, Tootsie & the chick into the coop without bloodshed, let Alpia & Wrold in to check their remaining chick, finding Ha'penny upended & keeping everyone else out, I obviously missed her. I am still feeling somewhat fraught & I really need to find those eggs. We have foxes...
You're going to have to follow her to the nest once you let her out. It's time to be a detective and shadow her.
