Roadrunner Chick - help!

During a dust storm, a friend of mine found a road runner chick under his truck yesterday. The poor little thing is just getting his feathers, still has a little white fuzz on top of it's head. He was peeping pitifully and ants we're starting to get on it and we're biting it making it jump and cry. We looked high and low and we're not able to locate the nest. He decided to rescue the poor chick.
He managed to feed it some ground chicken dipped in water. Now he needs to know what he should do with it because he knows he can't keep it. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated. He lives in West Texas, south of Midland. Thank you

He needs to find a licensed wildlife rehabbed near him....state fish & wildlife office, Audubon society, etc can help with that as can google

I'm sorry, I don't have further advice but I'm sure between other suggestions you'll find a suitable rehab facility for him! Good luck little peeper!
