Rooster has horrible smell

That's good! Does he still smell?
Nope! I've kept him on the back porch where i can keep an eye on him, and he's sneezed a few times but besides that he's fine. He's been crowing all morning and he had some snacks earlier. I'm not sure what was wrong with him but he's seems fine now. I also put some vitamins in his water.
Here he is in what i call "the chicken hospital".

Okay so i wanted to add that hes done the yawning thing a few times. I think if anything, its a respritory problem. I noticed he has a little bit of swelling around his eyes.

Handsome boy!
If the sneezing or facial swelling increase - or the odor comes back, then you may want to treat with antibiotics. Tylan50 can be used for Mycoplasma and can be effective against Infectious Coryza as well. Sulfa drugs can also be used for Coryza-if you have a vet, it's always best to consult them.

Thanks, I will keep an eye on him. Do you know where I would get that medication. I usually have to do everything myself since there are no vets who treat chickens in my area.

So, new update, I found this weird yellowish white stuff in his ears.. What is it and should I get it out or just leave it? Also, if i have to use tylan 50, should I treat the whole flock just in case, or could that harm them?

Can you post some photos of what you found in the ears?

It sounds like he has an ear infection. @dawg53 has instructions in an older thread HERE
(he may have updated info). The only thing I would personally change in that thread would be the Tylan50 dosage. Weigh your fella to get his weight and dose him at .20cc per 1 pound of weight 2-3times per day for 5days in a row. Give it to him orally.

I would *NOT* treat the whole flock, but it would be a good idea to inspect each one - look inside the beak and at the ears (and smell them too;)) to see if anyone else has similar symptoms.

edited to add the *NOT* Somehow I left that word out:( Don't treat any birds unless they are showing symptoms of illness.

Thats what i figured you would say. I have to wait until I can go to tractor supply but when i can, I'll treat the whole flock. I've only had chickens for a few years but i have always taken pretty good care of them. For some reason I've been dealing with a bunch of different problems all at once that I've never had to treat before... I have 3 hens who I discovered have bumblefoot, I had the worms and lice.
Can i give him the medicine on a piece of bread? I did that for his dewormer and it worked a lot better than trying to hold his mouth open while I push a syringe in his face.
Also, i will post more pics in the morning
