For a couple months I noticed my rooster's voice has changed and sitting down more often but still acting normal. This week I noticed he was doing much worse. His legs are shaking can't even hold himself up, lost weight, head shaking, I found him laying outside the coop cause he couldn't go up the ladder. I have him and 4 other hens and the hens are normal and healthy (maybe even a bit chunky). I quarantine him 3 days ago and he literally laid on his side shaking. But he is a bit better he is able to stand for a min but most of the time he is sitting down inside a dog crate. Eating and pooping minimally, poop consist of one small kibble and yellow water (I did give him rooster booster in the water, which is yellow). His comb and wattle is still pretty red but it has became a bit paler and dryer since I quarantine him. I used some diatomaceous earth on him thinking he has lice but he still acting the same.

Can you post photos of him and his poop?

Do you see any lesions inside her beak or in his throat?

How old is he?

Is his crop emptying?

Hard to know what's happening with him. I'd work on hydration. Get vitamins into him. Go to Walmart, CVS, etc. and pick up a bottle of Vitamin E and B-Complex.
Give him one 400IU Vitamin E gel cap daily along with 1/4 tablet B-Complex. Give him a bit of egg daily to help with the uptake of E.

Not sure how old he is since I got him from an abuse case but I have had him for atleast 3 years and he was a full adult when I got him. Unfortunately because he was abused he is semi feral and I fear handling him will stress him out to the point of death. His crop looks fine I couldn't get a good picture of his poop. I will say he perked up a bit since I reunited him with the flock (I know it runs the risk of spreading what he has).

Handsome Guy!

Well, without examining him, it will be hard to know what's causing his symptoms.

If you decide you want to give him a look over, wait until he's roosting at night, then take him from the roost. Swaddle him lightly in a towel or cloth to help hold his wings (so he's not flapping around). They usually settle well once swaddled.

Putting him with his ladies is a good idea. I usually leave birds with their flock unless others are picking at them or they are being injured. If he does have something contagious, all the others have been exposed.

With him being what...at least about 4 years old, some age may be catching up to him. Hard to know.

I'd still try to get some vitamins into him.
