Round worm what wormer works best

Why would you open the capsule? Just pop it in the beak, she'll swallow it. I think I might coat it in butter or oil to help it slip down.

I used Valbazen and syringed it into each chicken. 1/2 ml per bird. Repeat in 10 days. We put a band on each of our 20 girls as we dosed them, then removed the bands 10 days later on the repeat dose. Roundworms were our issue, too.
Does valbazen work on gapeworm?
I believe that it does, but is the dose the same; once and repeat in 10 days?

I've used alot of different wormers in my chickens over the years.
The best wormer is Valbazen and I've been using it for a very long time.

So we bought the safe guard goat dewormer, and wormed 10 chicken today:barnie. I watched videos and decided we were not quified enough to try and put it down the throat. We made bread balls , got a weight on the Brahmas and Nope they didnt like it. So then we mixed the worms in the wormer and they eat it right up. Now wait 10 days and repeat. Thank for all the advice.

Re the Safe-Guard Aqua Sol that I was reading about. All I've been able to find is the Safeguard Liquid Goat Dewormer. So it sounds like that is fine to use for chickens? I'll look at the best way to administer. Dose into each chickens mouth, or add to water.
