Saphire gem question

Hi, I purchased one sapphire gem hen and when I was researching about them i didn't find much information. I was wondering what was your experience owning sapphire gem chickens.

I've had two Sapphire Gems, and both were fairly calm, pretty social within the flock, good and reliable layers of large eggs. Vanna and Petra handled the extremes of Iowa weather as well as any of the chickens.

A plus for me was that they NEVER tried to fly over a fence when they were "free ranging" during the day, unlike some of the smaller, lightweight breeds.

Because I liked them so much, I have since added a pair of Sapphire Splashes and a Sapphire Olive Egger.
