I have a rooster who I inherited with a property a while back, and I found out that he probably had scaley leg mites through a post. I’ve tried to treat it with de and Vaseline and garden sulfur powder mix that was recommended but I don’t think it’s working because when I put my birds to bed it looks like some of the scales that were up have formed bumps and he has pink spots between his toes(the flash made them look redder than they are in person). Is this it getting worse or better I have photos for comparison. None of my girls are getting any symptoms and my roo is still acting the same and healthy, he has healthy poops and habits.

Even though the mites are probably dead after being smothered by the vaseline, his legs will not look better for a while. The old scales will fall off when healthy scales grow underneath, it takes time. What is that fleshy blob between his legs?

In the fist picture that’s his little bantam girl, she wouldn’t leave him side and likes to sit under him since he’s so big and she’s so small

Sorry for not answering it’s been a busy couple of days, thanks for the help, and I’ll make sure to keep watching his legs, and im sure he’ll appreciate the compliments. Here’s a picture with him and his mysterious blobs
