My two geese have been laying very well and I'm hoping to sell their eggs at a local farm store.

I'm having a hard time trying to figure out what the average price is per goose egg, and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions or if they sell their goose eggs, what price they sell them at?

Also, when folks sell their goose eggs, do they sell them in goose egg cartons? I've seen them for sale loose in a basket but that's not an option for me. I was thinking maybe three in a plastic clam shell with a label on the top and maybe some type of clean filler to prevent the eggs from rolling around. I'll attach a photo of what I'm hoping to do.

Any suggestions on pricing are appreciated. The geese are less than a year old, and I am getting a lot of eggs! I love to cook and bake with them, but am still left with a surplus of their unfertilized eggs and hope to sell them. Currently, no one is selling goose eggs at the farm store.

Thank you!

Rearranged then a bit and I can actually fit four. Might pack a bit of clean straw in the bottom of that is considered safe. Just to keep them upright.

I sell them for $5 but I've recently used up all my buyers and someone just put an ad on craigslist for $2 an egg near me so I think I'll have to lower my price to compete idk if this is helpful also I sell them in cardboard drink carriers

That is very helpful thank you! I will check Craigslist as well to see what they are going for around here. Social media has had sellers $2-3/egg & was a mixed bag and I found one online website that was selling goose eggs fo $7 each. I have been weighing mine and range from 110g-163g (they're relatively small goose breeds and first year layers) but their eggs are delicious and beautiful.
