Seriously beat up hen--how to treat?

lol No doubt it is... I use vetricyn on EVERY Animal here including us, if need be...Diabetic people and animals find it very benificial since they don't heal as quickly! I use it on everybody here dogs donkeys horses,cats...and no burning or omg here she comes again....great stuff for feathers and fur alike! Jeezeee i sound like a commercial lol

my chicken was attacked by a dog and had very deep teeth marks. what we did was douse her wounds with hydrogen peroxide at least 3 times a day for about a week,then let it settle and put some antibacterial cream on it. Peroxide is veryyyyy important b/c it prevents infection. Keep ur hen in a box or cage with water and food, make ure she isnt stressed out at all, and take her out for company a few times a day. This will help her get rid of some initial shock. If she keeps pecking at the wound, try putting something that will repel her on it i.e. mustard but in small amounts and wash it off later.
