Im really looking at the shape of the comb, and where it starts. If its coming out of the top of the nostrils.. that's my sign of a male.. if its starting behind the nostrils (closer to the "forehead") its usually female (unless it starts popping later). The males seem to have a more defined and separate comb points, where the females are little and squooshed together. Pink on these guys and cochins aren't always a good indicator, in my limited obsessive observations. Focus on comb shape and where it starts. Anddd the wonderful thing is youre not falling in love for 3 months and then getting a surprise heartbreakThank you so much for chiming in...what are you looking at when you make those assessments? I'd love to get better at this!

Ugh. This makes me want to go pick out female duccles now
