Adorable!!! I think your mf are male and your porcelains are female.... moreso now.

Do you know if you'd get mf or porcelain or 50/50 if you breed mf to porcelain?

Thank you!! I am not doing well with the waiting loll. I thought I would have it all together but now that I love these lil chickies it's hard to wait! I'm wondering when I can start to feel more confident. That pink on 3 has me nervy once again.

This thread seems to have some interesting info. Looks like 100% MF with a genetic split for porcelain. They mention a difference in feather quality between the two types which I feel like I'm noticing. I noticed even in my splash cochin, she was so light.. it just seemed like it took longer for the light coloring to feather fully.. but i bet they'll look pretty soon enough!

The two porcelain are for sure girls. The second mf is definitely a boy. I think the first one could still go either way.

I would say, in another 2-4 weeks, you should be able to tell for sure.

Will post the full 5 week update tomorrow. Once again I’m quite nervous about this one (porcelain d’Uccle 3). From the side profile things still look fairly flat, but one side seems folded over and it’s quite pink below the bumps.

Ok here is Minnie (brown) and Daisy (white)... both females.. at 5-6 weeks..





And my only male.. mille fleur.. at 4 weeks


Minnie actually had more pink, where the male had none.. but the comb shapes are very different early on.
