Shed ventilation

We are in Vacaville CA. It will be high of 107-113 in the summer and low of 50s during the winter (maybe 40s).

So hot, and never what could be considered cold to a chicken. I think you will want a lot more ventilation. I will let others with hot-weather experience chime in since I am at the opposite corner of the country with a drastically different temperature range but if I were building in that climate I would have large parts of one or two sides be open (I.e. hardware cloth).
