Shelties are very trainable especially as puppies if you nip the yapping in the butt right away. For Gimli every time he would yap I would :
1. Hold out my hand like you would to signal stop
2. Take one quick step towards him
3. Say sternly “Enough” then close my hand like a fist.
Now I just say “enough” or make the hand motion of the

Tucker has been acting up again. Lots of training later he needs to atleast be 3 or 4 before another pup.
And i want to get him around other dogs first

Puppy nipping is easy to correct.
Tucker was a nipper as a puppy. He had every hunting puppy instinct.
And he herds toys even thougj he is a Retriever
