So I have a question about when you ordered shipping eggs. This is my 1st time ordering hatching eggs off eBay. I ordered from two different people at the same time. One set arrived in 3 days they shipped out the next day. So here's the question is it normal practice for the seller to create a lable making it so you can't cancel the order then take days to actually ship the eggs? Description states ships within two days of order but all they have done is create the lable making it appear they ship when they haven't. Been over a week now today. So should I message them? Or is this a normal practice among seller's of hatching eggs and just wait and hope they ship soon because my other eggs need to be in the incubator tomorrow and hopefully they'll only be few days behind each other.

Eggs shipped practically immediately to me ismore questionable than taking a little while cause depending on the quantity bought. Think about it like this, someone has a dozen and ships immediately there's no telling how old those eggs are as opposed to someone paying so that buyer is locked in for a dozen then the seller collects the freshest eggs possible. That may take a few days. If that makes sense. I've shipped many many eggs and have mostly always collected after they were paid in full to ship the freshest
It really depends on the honesty of the seller and the number of breeders available

I ordered 6. That makes sense. Hopefully they ship out today. I was just really hoping to start all the eggs together.

When did you get your 1st shipment? I don't think it would hurt them to let 'rest' from shipping a day or 2 for other eggs to arrive. (That's often recommended regardless before setting)
Got them Thursday morning, I have them resting till Saturday is when I planned to put them in the incubator. I did message the seller and was told my order will be shipped Monday. Kind of upsetting I probably won't receive them till Thursday or Friday next week. And I can't cancel through eBay because the shipping label was created on the 29th so eBay thinks they are shipped. Guess buy another incubator at this point.

It's also possible that the eggs were picked up after the shipping label was made and the post office hasn't scanned them yet or if they did hasn't forwarded any notice yet. I won't use the USPS again for shipping eggs, "lost in transit" seems to happen fairly often plus the rough handling scrambled my first order.
If you put them both in the same incubator, when 18 days rolls around will you be able to stop rotating the first set of eggs but continue rotating the rest?

I did message the seller and they won't be shipping till Monday. The turning I'm not concerned about I'm more worried about the humidity and lock down if the eggs will be a week apart.

I sell Salmon Faverolles hatching eggs on Ebay. The allowed actual time for a seller to ship is 2 days. Most will ship the next day if a late order. If morning it's usually that day. (Will usually ship within 2 business days of receiving cleared payment.) USPS priority is 2-5 days. I have seen 11 days and that is unacceptable for a box marked all over "FRAGILE FERTILE EGGS". But it happens. Good sellers ship same day, always. See the send date on tracking number and you can tell who is a good seller. Time is of the essence when it comes to hatching eggs. Shipping labels are created by Ebay and we print them out. You can cancel eggs if you insist.
