Shipping egg question??

I sell Salmon Faverolles hatching eggs on Ebay. The allowed actual time for a seller to ship is 2 days. Most will ship the next day if a late order. If morning it's usually that day. (Will usually ship within 2 business days of receiving cleared payment.) USPS priority is 2-5 days. I have seen 11 days and that is unacceptable for a box marked all over "FRAGILE FERTILE EGGS". But it happens. Good sellers ship same day, always. See the send date on tracking number and you can tell who is a good seller. Time is of the essence when it comes to hatching eggs. Shipping labels are created by Ebay and we print them out. You can cancel eggs if you insist.
So as of today eggs still haven't shipped. ( I placed the order Jan 27th) I message seller again today because she told me last week they'd ship yesterday (Monday) and still haven't. She said they'll either ship Friday this week or Monday next week. I'm over it. I'll be canceling the order. I ordered the same breed from another seller few hours ago and already got a message saying they'll be shipped out tomorrow. So I'm excited. I also ordered Salmon Faverolle eggs from someone else the same time I ordered those eggs. That seller was amazing shipped next day and eggs were perfectly packaged and so far 4 days in the incubator they are all forming nicely. I can't wait for them to hatch I've been wanting Salmon Faverolle for such a long time 😊

Update.. I received the eggs today Feb 13th they were shipped Feb 7th. Poor things had a hell of a journey. This whole process with these eggs has been a headache with the seller to U.S.P.S. Seller did package well, all air pockets are detached I'm not surprised 6 days with USPS 😕 1 of the 6 does have a weird wrinkly shell 🤷🏻‍♀️ and oddly shaped. not sure what causes that. I don't think that will effect incubating. I'm still going to try and hatch something from them. Only time will tell.

any success with this hatch? Contemplating ordering shipped eggs, but also wanting to be prepared for scenarios like this.

So I've ordered 4 different sets of Hatching eggs. 1st was Salmon Faverolle ordered 6 received 7. 6 hatched. Seller was awesome shipped next days and packaged well. 2nd was 6 Ermine Ameraucana despite this seller reviews I still ordered and with what I had to deal regret it. Only 1 egg hatched of those 6. They sent no extra. 3rd order was more Ermine Ameraucana from different seller received 7 hatched 3 they did all form but shipping was kind to them air cell issues. 4th order was 6 Large Standard Cochin. Received 7 hatched 5. Lost one during hatching or would of had 6. It's a gamble honestly but I have pretty good luck with it. A caring sell who package well and labels well makes all the difference in my opinion.

Thank you for this information! Did you happen to order from any homestead or small farm websites vs eBay? I was thinking that it may produce better results to go the small farm shipped eggs route!

The one Ermine Ameraucana seller I had the issue with had there own website you could order from stating they were a homestead. They sold other breeds as well. I still decided to go through eBay to buy the eggs from them because eBay will sort issues for you if need be. The other ones were just people with backyard flocks and honestly they did the best. Better communication and package was very good. My best advice is to read reviews from others when ordering from eBay. And picking a seller that's isn't to far. Like a few states away The time spent with USPS makes a big difference too.
