I have a female khaki campbell about 2 years old we brought in a few days ago. She can't walk, barely eats, not drinking a ton, and can't vocalize. Her poop is really liquidy and smelly (more like a pig than a duck?) and not very much. We've been putting her in a warm bath once or twice a day which she loves. She seems to be getting a little stronger because she is now trying to stand when we hold her up, but she can't stand on her own and she will move her legs when we lay her on her back on our lap after her bath. She's not interested in duck food, but we've gotten her to eat a little yogurt when we add in raspberries and peas. We've given her some probiotics and electrolytes in her water as well as brewers yeast in whatever we can.
She's making a kind of grunting noise. I'm not sure if she has a niacin deficiency or an intestinal blockage?? (I've been all over google) Her stomach between her legs is soft and she's drinking, but she typically keeps her head down and back. But I think that is partly because of her balance. When we hold her, her neck is stretched out and she's looking around everywhere. It's hard for her to stay upright unless she's balanced just right. Her legs go behind her mostly, so she tends to roll herself over on her side a lot.
I'm at a loss of what to do. I'm nervous to give her solids just in case she does have a blockage, but want to feed her too. I'd post a picture of her poop, but it's liquid so can't really.
