Is anyone able to predict what colours mine will be?
In the photo I've numbered the chicks, the colours indicate which look the same. Number 3 is half black and half grey at the moment hence the 2 colours.

I have a buff hen, a white hen and a black hen. The rooster is what I think is partridge.

Hi everyone, first time with tractor supply pullets, they told me a lot of customers are saying they are getting silkies from this batch, super excited I may have silkies! All have 5 toes and black skin. I'm sure one is a white, but my other 2 are more yellow with faint wide darker yellow stripes any thoughts what those two could be? I'll attach pick too

We are just starting out in the adventure of chicken farming!! We are already having a blast and have only had our babies for 4 days. We picked up a variety at the local farm supply which included 2 Silkie chicks. one of which is a color that i find very interesting, her down seems to be a mixture of pale yellow and light silver. This combination gives her an almost green tint, and i am wondering if anyone might be able to tell me what color she may turn out to be? I am attaching a few photos in hopes it will help.

Might be white, it's her black skin that gives her that silvery look

This little one just hatched and was supposed to be a silkie. I thought all silkies were supposed to have black feet and beak.

Hey guys! I just got a batch of half day old bearded silkies today and I am so excited to share them I tried to pick one of every color available. I wanted to see what all you silkie lovers thought the colors will be! Some are more obvious but some have me kinda stumped. I thought I was picking a white, black, blue, splash, buff, and dark buff or partridge but im not sure. What color would the buff w/the darker back be called? And is the splash really a splash or could it be lavender? These colors may be off though to due to my camera flash, and they may change alot with age but I wanted to see what you all thought of my new babies and their colors! Also can you educate me on why some have larger puffs on their head then others? Does that mean anything? Will some just be fluffier then others or will the others catch up? The breeder did her best to pick out what she thought were females by weighing them and checking their wing feather growth, so im crossing my fingers they are hens so I dont have to part with any of them later. I love them already What do you all think ??

What color did these babies end up being? I LITERALLY just got a group of silkie chicks that look JUST like these. Can you post a new picture of what they grew into?
