My luck has to change sometime right? I have purchased 6 supposedly sexed females last March. Of those 3 (and probably now 4) where male. So this is a roo right? 6 months old. No crowing. No eggs either.

I have been looking through youtube videos and google images and I just am not 100% sure if this is a pullet or roo? I can try to get some closer photos tomorrow but here are a couple of other photos I had on hand. Thanks for the help!

Need better picture of bird facing front, without cocking head - makes it hard to check comb. Because it has no beard, you can see wattles - which have no gender baring.
Beak should be darker, I can't see if legs and feet are black.

Well I think all this talk may have scared her into laying an egg this morning. The other two lay their eggs in the box and this one was laid right below the roost. We will see.

But for my reference going forward. For non-bearded silkies. I know to look for those wisped feathers on the head for roos, the obvious crowing/mounting/strutting. Feet - should they be black in pullets? Beaks - should that also be black? Comb - it does look like a walnut. This is one thing that was throwing me. What specific characteristics should I look for in birds with walnut combs?
