i have a chick that is a mix of SLW and faverolles. I thought that if it were to be a rooster, it would most definately have a oot of black, or am I wrong? I was so happy ehen I saw all the light feathers (all light on the chest). But now I am in doubt, as I think the comb is getting a bit red? The chicks are 1 lonth now on the dot. What do you think?

That cross wouldn't be sex linked. There's no barring gene in either breed, and both have genes for silver. So you have to go through the usual process. It could go either way-- rose combs can be tricky.
