i have a chick that is a mix of SLW and faverolles. I thought that if it were to be a rooster, it would most definately have a oot of black, or am I wrong? I was so happy ehen I saw all the light feathers (all light on the chest). But now I am in doubt, as I think the comb is getting a bit red? The chicks are 1 lonth now on the dot. What do you think?

That comb is awfully red. I'm not very familiar with salmon genetics, so i could be wrong, but I don't think that cross results in sex linked chicks.

What are we leaning against now? I’m in more doubt now!!😅

Right now I'm leaning pullet, especially when you compare combs withe the silver laced bird in the second photo. But I'm not confident enough to call it. This one might keep you guessing (and second guessing) until you get a crow or an egg!
