Thank you. Yes I noticed he doesn't have those pretty black patterns.99% sure he’s a boy. His comb is even redder than my, almost two year old, SSH hen’s comb has ever been. His coloring is a lot more splotchy, and I believe I may see some saddles growing in.
Thank you so much for this detailed response! I really appreciate that you took the time to do this. I am hoping you are correct as the wattles have not developed much. I am much more happier to hold on to her/him for a good few weeks to determine gender. Thank you again!Could be female.
Here are pics of my SSH in an ALL MALE order. We ordered a variety of males -but errors occur in sexing, so we got 1 female and 1 male SSH.

MALE at 6 weeks - very obvious.

Female at 6 weeks…no comb development if any more, no wattles. View attachment 3030828
Here they are at approx 12 weeks. Femsle still has little color or comb - keep in mind, these were fall chicks, so light is decreasing and the female isn’t going to pink up as early as a spring chick.

Yours don’t really match mine. Comb development is less than my male, but more than my female. Maybe due to genetic line, or bc of season of the year.
