ALREADY!!! my goodness its Wednesday, Well, the siding crew ripped off all the siding. We found all the lost bird seed the original owner used. Some type of rodent packed it tightly in all the insulation by the chimney.

This house had no plywood-just 5ft of insulation and paper then siding. So, I think we wont go through so much firewood next winter after this fix.

its 7, I need to get dressed and feed the dogs. Poor tony & Ziva are so stressed out with the noise level and strangers. I am glad I have the padlock field across the driveway. I put a folding chair over there and water bowls. they can watch whats going on.
I need to water my garden but the hose is not hooked up, I'll try to get it done before they get working on this side of the house again. I repotted the lavender I got last week and need to water them,
Have a wonderful day,

I am getting a LOT done while hubby and Freya are gone. I am hoping for a rainy day in the next few, both for the rain and for a reason to stay in and take it a (little) bit easier.

48 hills of potatoes this year. We need to eat more potatoes! I had plenty for planting, and threw too many out. Sprouted, shriveled, way too far gone for eating.

They will probably grow in your compost pile! I’ve had that happen when I thought they were dead.

Well,
I started out only going to mow around the house but,,,
IAs I got close the the front fence I went ahead and mowed the slop that goes down to the driveway- then was only going to mow where we open the field gate, but then I started mowing the field, and then , I went outside the field and mowed where we walk up to the top of the property,, and then back to the field. I got the NW 1/4 and went and got the weed-eater, then I wacked all of the 1/2 moon that goes around the yard/garden/back of the house.
so
7hours later

I still need to do the east side of the ditch, but its mostly dry and would only take an hour or two.
I got a very hot shower and promptly got Aspercream on my hands and elbows.
