Whenever my rooster Ledo poops, he farts! Someone he even does the "warning squeal" along with his farts lol

My chickens are obsessed with styrofoam too! I wonder what it is about it that they like...probably the texture?I have a couple!
All my birds are addicted to styrofoam. It’s not harmful to them aside from the risk of getting an impacted crop, luckily, but I cannot get them to stop! No matter how hard I try to hide it or put it up where they can’t get to it, they always magically find more. Every piece of exposed styrofoam board on this property looks like an old dish sponge. I have no idea where they keep finding it either.
I have 2 silkie roosters and 1 silkie hen in one coop… which would have you concerned, naturally! Much to my surprise, my roosters are perfectly content and actively flirt with each other, and only one rooster attempts anything with the hen. Currently they’re all successfully raising 3 babies, which both roosters actively help parent by protecting and feeding them. Of course, due to their limited sight, they do accidentally—confidentally—step on the babies while trying to protect them but… at least they’re trying?
They’re not pure silkies, but fluffy enough! Cloud has the floppy comb, Cotton has the slicked back hairstyle, and Marshmallow is the little one.

bet you wish u had an aggressive rooster when those kids were chasing your chickensmy rooster almost never breeds, because he does this little " wings outstretched aggressive spin" thing, some kind of mating ritual, but by the time he's done running in circles, the girl already left!
I also still have my meat rooster (I know, he is too aggressive, but he's literally not worth the time it would take to butcher and roast him). he tries to breed, but he is so uncoordinated, he just awkwardly kicks/ steps on the hens, in a futile attempt to assert his dominance.
I got rid of almost all my roosters. I have one left, and he is the son of the old Plymouth. I do wish I had a roo who would protect the hens, but the reality is if he did, he'd either be sold or soup as soon as he had an heir.bet you wish u had an aggressive rooster when those kids were chasing your chickens
