Spraddled legs and curled foot?

hi there

I have a chick who was in his shell for 40hrs after pipping.

I noticed he has a curled foot, I’ve made a boot for both feet as I notice his other foot looks a bit wonky maybe.
Before this I put a brace on him for spraddled feet, but figured he won’t need that brace if his feet are uncurled and get used to the correct method.

Looking at him just before it looks like his somewhat good foot is over extending. Maybe he’s just trying to find his balance.

I’m wondering if anyone can tell me if he’s looking alright with the booties on? I’ve posted pics.

Your sandals look fine, I see the right leg looking like it's lagging. It's good that you have a towel under it, whatever you use in the brooder make sure it's skip proof. You could just keep an eye on the lag or put the brace on for a couple days then remove to check. Cutie

Ok thanks. He keeps falling over and is unable to get up, I’m trying not to help him as much bc he needs to figure it out himself. He just tried to move his legs to get up.
