Chickies are here! These are Swedish Flower Hens! I know, I know, they are not what I originally ordered....those chicks will be coming later this month. But I couldn't resist when I found a local breeder offering this rare breed!

It's been 8 years since I've had chicks this young! Looking forward to seeing what awesome colors and patterns these will have.

I accidentally melted my new brooder thermometer.... I unwittingly left it on the brooder top and slid it right under the heat lamp...RIP thermometer.
