I have lived in neighborhoods all my life so when my husband and I retired we decided to live in the country in the midst of farmers. And raise chickens .
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
We have 9 chickens
(3) What breeds do you have? Golden comets, buff Orpingtons and Americana.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? They are a delight and have endeared themselves to us.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Vermiculture, bee keeping, gardening, small batch wine development, and reading.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I’m a retired school teacher and love to introduce my grandchildren to the great outdoors.
