Hi welcome to the site! Sorry about your hen. Can you post some pictures of her eye? Start by using a warm compress to soften any crust on her eye so you can open it and inspect her eye to check for any debris. Rinse with saline solution.

Generally your next steps will be to use some ointment on her eye twice a day after a saline rinse. Terramycin is the ointment of choice for animal eyes, but if you can’t get any or have to wait to get some, instead or in the meantime use a triple antibiotic ointment such as neosporin (without pain relief). You can get Terramycin at most farm stores. But it’d be helpful to see the pics so we can get a better idea of what may be going on incase some different advice is warranted:)

I am cleaning her eye with the saline in a couple days now. I am leaving in FL and just had a hurricane and wasn't able to get any cream but I ordered some. She eats and drinks water.

Oh gosh I’m sorry you went through the hurricane, my heart goes out to you.

Does she have any discharge in her ears, nose or beak? Any mouth breathing or bubbles in the other eye? Any smells coming from her head or mouth? Lesions in her mouth? If you can get any closer pictures at all they would help.

Do you know if she injured her face or if she might have been pecked? Respiratory diseases may also present with a swollen eye. Is there any foam or bubbles in the eye? Terramycin or plain Neosporin ointment can be put into the eye twice a day.
