Hi all, I need advice on how to help this little lady. She is 2 weeks old and has had pasty butt. I have soaked her in warm water many times and each time she would poop right after. Now, she doesn’t seem to be getting pasty butt but she is definitely struggling to poop and her little vent is swollen, even after pooping. Her stool is solid but sometimes will have loose stool after a solid. I just want her to feel better and thrive but I’m at my wits end.

Welcome to BYC! So sorry about your chick!
Since she's seems to be constipated, I would give her coconut oil if you have any. If you don't have that, other oils should work.
Coconut oil is easier to administer, all you have to do is let it solidify in the fridge and break into pieces, then pop a couple into her mouth.
If you don't have coconut oil, you could put some other oil in a syringe or dropper, and slowly administer some into the mouth.

The oil is a great idea, I will try that! Thank you.

Awesome! You're welcome, let me know how she does.
It seems the oil trick is helping some. She’s been able to potty several times now but I think it is painful for her because she squaks when she poops and it takes her a minute to get it out. I pray she makes it, my husband and I have really bonded with her through all of this. 🥺

It is amazing how caring for an "at risk" animal can create a bond. I found 4 2 week old kittens a few years ago and raised them by bottle. Since they didn't have their mother, some of them (well one really) tried to suckle on one of the male's genitalia, so I constantly had to provide extra care for him to prevent permanent damage. He is now the closest one of the 4 to me.

Aw so glad she's doing a bit better! Keep up the oil, just a tiny bit at at time, and give it multiple times a day. I'm sure she'll make it.
