swollen vent, weak and dying. HELP!

UPDATE!!!
she lived through the night but we haven't checked for an egg yet. her vent area is very full and she is having a hard time breathing and eating. she is no longer wanting to drink or eat the raspberries we have been feeding her. i feel like we should put her out of her misery as we've given her warm baths and lots of care and treatment but nothing seems to work. her stool is watery and green. i am starting to give up.

Is it possible that she's broody? That belly looks pretty bare. Broody hens pluck their belly feathers out to line the nest. The vent looks fairly normal. But the trance-like state is a hallmark of a brooding hen. They don't eat or drink much when broody, and they don't lay either. They just sit all day and all night.

There are a number of reproductive disorders, such as internal laying, egg yolk peritonitis, salpingitis, cancer, and ascites (fluid in the belly.) If there is ascites in her belly, it can be punctured with a 20 gauge needle and drained periodically to remove the yellow fluid to relieve pressure. Infection in the reproductive tract from E.coli and other bacteria c an be common.

thank you everyone for helping us and replying,
