Could someone who has experience with raising ducks message me? I have some ducks and I'm not quite sure what's wrong with them. I'm not sure if it's a deficiency, injured legs, or a neurogical problem. I also have questions about vet costs.

Ducks typically need a Niacin supplement. You can usually get some Vitamin B complex and give that to them. I noticed a significant change almost immediately with our ducks! The one couldn't really walk, and wouldn't stand up. About 10 minutes after I gave him some niacin for the first time, he was literally running around!

Make an appointment to have them examined and ask them about treatment options. Xrays may or may not be needed, but you won't know until you go there. Once there, you don't have to have xrays done if you don't want to.

If possible, can you upload a video to youtube or vimeo then copy/paste the link here?

In your other thread, you mentioned that you have been giving vitamins and that they are getting better. Can you tell us what vitamins you have been giving them?

I switch between two that people recommended to me. I didn't want to give them too many at once so I switch them every other day. I mix in some niacin vitamin powder in their food along with grit and give that to them and then on the alternate days I add some liquid vitamin B complex to their water. But they don't really touch their water too much when I add that to it so I don't know if I should just stick with the niacin. Because the person that reccomended the liquid vitamin b complex said that it works miracles for their sick ducks and it's by far the best to use so.

Can you show us pictures of what they are?

I have another post on here and someone recommended the liquid vitamin b complex so I tried that but my ducks don't really drink the water when I mix it in :/ any tricks on getting them to take it?? I also use niacin vitamin powder on alternate days that I try the vitamin b complex and just mix it in their food and it seemed to lift their spirits a bit but they still have trouble walking. I've only been using the vitamins and complex for 3 days now so I don't know if it might take a bit or not. It absolutely breaks my heart. I love my ducks so much. And I hate to see them like this...
