I pay $14.50 for layer right here on the island. I can get it for $13.00 if I want to drive 40 miles to Santa Fe.Is feed really that expensive in Houston? I guess everything is more expensive down there. I went to Galveston recently and was floored at how much things cost! Waco to Houston is quite a drive. Texas is so big, it's faster to get to Mississippi from here than to the other side of Texas. I should have said "Central and East Tx" =P
I haven't seen an ingredient list either, but from the sample bag I got, it was not dusty or powdery at all. I don't think it contains DE. I was a big fan of it, as were my chickens. I still plan on getting some. I was impressed.-would be very interested in this feed! We're in North Texas, and currently the only non-GMO and organic feed we've found has been very powdery. The chickens sift through it and peck out certain pieces and leave the rest. It also contains DE, of which I'm not a fan (dusty and I scoop the coop, daily). I can't find a list of ingredients for this product. Does it contain DE?
