I would get an AR if I could get a walnut stock.
(I see them but they are always sold out.)

Just buy the AR you want then accessorize as you prefer. Trust me, they are very easy to do mods on. Anyone who has some mechanical aptitude & experience can do the mods. However, with the wood stocks, you will limit your ability to have forward rails for tactical accessories.

My favorite was always the silencer on a revolver. But I still want Elmer Fudd's double barrel with the never ending rate of fire, now that was a must have.

I am going to be building a coop inside the barn this year, so I need to clear out the pigeons, house sparrows, and starlings that roost and nest in there. Pulled out the BRK ranger

I found a used DNT Zulus 3-12 night vision scope that should be here next week to replace the Bugbuster scope.

Also found a 90 degree sling mount in a box-of-odds-n-ends so I can sling the Ranger and have both hands free to do things like open the barn door quietly.
