The humming bird nest

@BFAL - Where are you located, and do you know the species of hummingbird?

If she's hatched one and its been a few days on the other, it may not be viable. Observe from a distance and see if mom is feeding the other. Find a number for a certified wildlife rehabilitator who deals with hummingbirds to be safe.
im located in LA and i don't know the species

i"ve called the wildlife rehabilitator she said the eggs can hatch 5-7 days apart and i've seen that the one that has already hatched is being fed by its mother
@BFAL - Mom hummers can lay eggs days apart, but they'll start true incubation when the full clutch is laid. The baby should've hatched close to the same time.

@BFAL - Hmm, I've seen them hatch a day apart or on the same day due to the way they incubate. I've asked a friend about this who is more experienced and familiar to hummer nests. I'm not sure about 5 to 7 days apart...but the positive is that mom is feeding her hatched baby!

edit: It appears after 5 days, they would not be viable.
