The Moonshiner's Leghorns

We started using cheap mulch at work for a few places that get muddy and wants to stay that way. So far it's been working pretty good as long as it doesn't get too flooded and wash away.
I think I'm going to try to find a cheap source for some and start with my walking paths. Then I might end up using it in some of my pens that get the worst.
The big chunk mulch has worked grate for me.

My husband mentioned putting mulch in the turkey pens but he hasn’t done it yet. I think a coarse mulch would work good and be more absorbent than straw.

I'm guessing if I went and got like a half truck bed full by the time I drove 45 minutes home it mostly have blown out if not tarped or something?
Afraid if I tarped it the d@mn tarp wouldn't stay put. Blow out and cover the windshield of someone behind me and then id have a lawsuit situation.
