I got Odie out this morning for some foraging time, but of course his mind is always on two things: chasing hens and finding me food. After I kept chasing him back every time he tried to get to a hen, and putting him where he was before, he finally understood that he was not going to get to them and he stopped trying. But then he went to finding me food, and usually I grab anything he gives me because I do not want to make him feel like he is not good enough or something, but this time I did not grab what he gave me because he dropped a caterpillar at my feet. I told him I am not picking up a caterpillar because it may be poisonous. He eventually ate it but he was really trying to tell me he found something tasty with all that food-clucking!
