Do the Dux appreciate my work? - Some do, but most do not and stay at their beloved pond:

This afternoon the pond was already ⅓ frozen:

I expect the pond to be completely frozen over when "Vladolph" arrives here tomorrow afternoon. Temperatures will stay below freezing night and day for at least the next three days…
Am I the only one who can’t see any of the pictures in this post?

My son in Kansas City drive to work lol He has a CDL so he figures he can deal
What is the difference on the tire-grip between a driver with a DL and a CDL?
Reminds me to the colleague with the Audi Quattro who felt invincible due to the four-wheel-drive system. He ended up in a ditch after finding some black ice on a county road…
I hope your son is all right!

He says his suv is designed for this besides that why didn’t his workplace just close for the day? The whole state is in emergency. But his job is mandatory / essential - so - yes I pray for him 💕

On December 23rd the force was strong in me: I did not bought any ducklings!
Even though they had, what looked like Ancona duxlings…
Who had them? Our Rural King is the only one near me that carries ducklings and they have not had any for quite a while or they are sold out before I get there, that is a good thing!!! LOL I am at my Max with 22 ducks since rescuing the 3 huge ones with big appetites. They are really pretty though and sweet ducks so I have no regrets.

I just put another bag of shavings into the ducks pens. It is really nice and thick now as I had just put some down a few days ago. Hopefully they will stay in their shelters where their food is and the warmth. They don't seem to mind the snow though.

I just hope if we get the weather we are supposed to get it comes enough before morning to cancel school. I can't tell you how many times it will be late coming and start just as we are leaving the garage in our buses and then we have to still drive in it. My kids are great though, all I have to do is tell them it's not a good morning and I need them to be extra good and for the most part they are. I have been blessed to be able to keep it on the road for many many years and out of the ditches.

The local Rural King here in Crosslanes WV had two bins of duxlings before Christmas.
